导读:里约奥运村于当地时间7月24日正式开放，66个国家奥委会约900人周日下午已进驻位于里约巴拉奥林匹克公园内的奥运村，包括英国，加拿大，荷兰等20个国家的200名运动员。
The Olympic Village for the Rio Games was officially opened on Sunday as some 3,600 apartments are ready to welcome athletes and officials from all over the world.
7月24日，里约奥运村正式开放。奥运村内的3600间房间已做好准备迎接来自世界各地的运动员和随队官员。
The 47-year-old Basketball great Janeth Arcain, who is the mayor of the village, cut the ribbon together with Rio de Janeiro’s Mayor Eduardo Paes and head of the Organizing Committee Carlos Nuzman to symbolize the opening of the village.
此次奥运村村长、47岁的退役篮球运动员埃尔凯恩和里约市长爱德华多.佩斯以及里约奥组委主席卡洛斯斯.努兹曼共同剪彩，标志着奥运村的正式开启。
The village consists of 31 apartment buildings with 3,604 apartments, which will be home to more than 17,000 athletes and team officials during the Olympic Games and 6,000 people during the Paralympic Games.
奥运村内有31栋楼房，一共3604套公寓，将满足奥运会期间1.7万名各国运动员和随队官员以及残奥会期间6000人的住宿需求。
Some foreign athletes including some of the refugee athletes have already moved in the village, which also includes a 24-hour gym, multi-faith center, florist, convenience stores, bank, post office, hairdresser and beauty salon, as well as a vast food hall that will serve more than 60,000 meals a day during the Games period.
难民代表团等部分外国运动员已经入住奥运村。这里有24小时开放的健身房、宗教室、花店、便利店、银行、邮局、美容美发沙龙以及在比赛期间可容纳6万多人就餐的超大餐厅。
But according to Rio 2016 spokesperson Mario Andrada, no Russian athletes has moved in so far.
不过据里约奥组委发言人马里奥介绍，目前还没有俄罗斯运动员入住。
The IOC earlier in the day decided not to impose a blanket ban on Russia from the Rio Olympics and let each summer sports International Federation (IF) to determine each athlete’s eligibility.
24号早些时候，国际奥委会决定，不全面禁止俄罗斯运动员参加里约奥运会，让国际单项体育联合会自行决定是否对俄罗斯选手禁赛。
"It is a decision for the International Olympic Committee and International Federations. We are the organizers. We will receive all the athletes that come with the decision of these organizations," said Nuzman after the opening ceremony of the Olympic Village. "We will always defend the zero tolerance of doping."
在奥运村开幕仪式后，里约奥组委主席努兹曼表示：“这是国际奥委会和国际单项体育联合会的决定，作为赛事组织者，我们欢迎前来参赛的全部运动员。”“我们对兴奋剂一直零容忍。”
"We will follow the IOC and IFs," he added.
他补充说，“我们将支持国际奥委会和国际单项体育联合会的决定。”
The Olympics will be held from August 5 to 21 and the Paralympics from September 7 to 18.
奥运会将于8月5日至8月21日进行，残奥会则是从9月7日到9月18日。
