Organizedintosixarmamentformations,theweaponryincludeslong-range,intermediate-range,andshort-rangemissilesaswellasconventionalandnuclearmissiles,saidthesource.
Thesourcedidnotrevealthespecifictypesofmissiles,butsaid"thescaleandnumberofthemissileswillsurpassanypreviousouting."

AseniormilitaryofficialsaidFridaythat84percentofarmamentstobedisplayedinthemilitaryparadehaveneverbeenviewedbythepublicbefore.
TheSACmadeitsfirstpublicappearanceonOct. 1, 1984,whenthenewChinacelebratedthe35thanniversaryofitsfounding.Afterthat,ithasbeenapopularsectionofeverymilitaryparade.
DuringtheNationalDayparadein2009,Chinashowcasedfivetypesofmissiles,includingDF31A,along-rangeintercontinentalballisticmissile.
