大兴安岭迎来六月飞雪

Summer snow rocked the Greater Xing'an Mountains since Friday at the Mengkeshan forestry center of Tahe county, and made the locals experience winter in June.

At 50 degrees north latitude, the Greater Xing'an Mountains share similar latitude with North Europe. The Mengkeshan is the highest forestry center in the Greater Xing'an Mountains area. At 650 meters high, it has the most snowy days in the area.
