A husband was divorced after three hours and had his head shaved as a punishment after his wife said he was ’greedy’ and married another man on the same day.
因被妻子指责“贪婪”，一男子结婚刚刚三个小时就被离婚，而且还被剃掉头发以示惩戒，而就在同一天，新娘改嫁了别人。
Rubana Parveen, 18, married Muntaj Ansari, 26, on Wednesday morning, in Chandwa village, in eastern India.
印度东部Chandwa村的18岁女孩Rubana Parveen和26岁的Muntaj Ansari于本周三上午结婚。
But after the traditional Muslim nuptials Muntaj Ansari started demanding a huge dowry and insisted on buying an expensive motorbike.
没想到举行完穆斯林传统婚礼仪式之后，Muntaj Ansari就开始向新娘索要一大笔嫁妆，还坚持要求女方陪嫁一辆昂贵的摩托车。
The bride’s father, Bashir-ud-din Ansari, 58, who owns a hotel, had already bought him a motorbike but Muntaz wasn’t satisfied.
新娘的父亲Bashir-ud-din Ansari今年58岁，经营着一家酒店，结婚之前他已经给女婿买了一辆摩托车，但他却还是不满足。
A witness said: ‘Everyone kept telling the groom to calm down and tried convincing him to accept what he was given.
一名目击者称，“所有人都劝他要冷静下来，接受现在手头已经拥有的。”
’But he kept threatening to go home without his new bride. The groom and bride’s father were arguing a lot. It was a crazy scene.’
“但他却一直在威胁说，要是不答应他的要求，他就扔下新娘自己回家去了。新娘的父亲和新郎发生了激烈的争吵，那场面真是太疯狂了。”
Bride Rubana decided to call a local ‘Qazi’, also known as a Muslim judge or adjudicator, and with her family’s support she declared divorce.
新娘Rubana决定请来一位当地的“Qazi”，也就是穆斯林的审判员来为自己主持公道，在家人的支持下，她宣布与Muntaj离婚。
Bashir-ud-din said he made sure Muntaj’s family return all gifts and dowry.
Bashir-ud-din表示，他一定要让Muntaj的家人归还自己买的所有礼物和嫁妆。
Muntaj’s family were so ashamed they wrote a letter of apology promising to return everything.
Muntaj的家人都觉得十分羞愧，于是给女方家里写了一封道歉信，并承诺会归还所有东西。
Local residents were outraged with Muntaj’s behavior and as a punishment they made him wear a garland of shoes.
当地人对Muntaj的行为感到十分愤怒，于是在他的脖子上挂了一圈鞋子
They even shaved a strip of hair off his head.
甚至后来还剃了他一绺头发。
But later that evening Bashir-ud-din arranged for another local man to marry his daughter.
不过当天晚上，Bashir-ud-din就安排了当地另一个小伙儿来跟女儿结婚。
He contacted the family of Mohammed Elias, 25, who lived 25kms from Rubana, and arranged for the pair to marry that same evening.
Mohammed Elias今年25岁，家就住在离Rubana25公里的地方，Bashir-ud-din联系了他的家人，并于当天晚上给两个年轻人举行了婚礼。
That night wedding celebrations continued as planned.
于是那天晚上，婚礼庆典照常举行。
Bashir-ud-din said: ‘I’ve no regrets for what has happened. I’m just happy that my daughter doesn’t have to spend the rest of her life with that greedy man.
Bashir-ud-din说：“对于之前发生的事情我一点都不觉得遗憾，相反我觉得很开心，因为我的女儿不用跟那样一个贪得无厌的男人共度余生了。”
’She’s now thankfully very happy and I bless them for life.’
“谢天谢地，她现在很幸福，我也将永远为他们祝福。”
