Samsung Electronics said that a media report claiming the company has a less favorable refund policy for faulty Galaxy Note 7 in China compared with the foreign market is "inaccurate."
一家媒体报道称三星对出故障的国行Galaxy Note 7的补偿退款政策比国外市场少，三星电子表示该报道“不准确”。
The company is not adopting different policies for Chinese and US consumers, a PR staff from Samsung told the Global Times on Friday, on condition of anonymity.

Galaxy Note 7 owners in China are offered two ways for refund. The firm will provide 200 yuan ($29.74) to consumers who choose for a refund, while those who opt for an exchange with other Samsung smartphones can get coupons worth up to 600 yuan.
三星为中国的Galaxy Note 7用户提供两种退款方式。该公司将为选择退款的消费者提供200元（29.74美元），而选择更换三星其他型号智能手机的消费者总计可以获得价值600元的优惠券。
Galaxy Note 7 owners in the US will receive twice the amount offered to their Chinese counterparts.

For example, US consumers who opt for a refund can receive $25, while Chinese consumers will get a refund without any subsidies, the report said.
