A special ceremony took place in Jinxian County, eastern China’s Jiangxi province on Oct. 7.

At the event, 99 couples who have been married for more than 50 years gathered at a local forest park to renew their marriage vows in advance of the upcoming Double Ninth Festival, a traditional Chinese festival that encourages respect for the elderly.
在活动中，99对结婚超过50年的夫妻聚在当地的森林公园，在重阳节来临之前，重申他们的婚姻誓言。重阳节是中国倡导尊重老人的传统佳节。
The couples were all dressed in suits and wedding gowns. Zhang Guanglong, 87, has been married to his wife, Zou Guiying, for 63 years. Zou had never worn a wedding dress before. She said it made her very happy to dress up in such a beautiful gown.
夫妻们都穿着西装和婚纱。87岁的张广龙和他的妻子邹桂英已经结婚63年了。邹以前从来没有穿过婚纱。她说，穿上如此美丽的礼服让她很开心。
Other participants included 91-year-old Guo Wenxi and his 82-year-old wife, Li Liuzai, married for 65 years. The love of the couples touched everyone who witnessed the event.
其他参加仪式的人包括91岁的郭温惜和他82岁的妻子黎琉甾，他们已经结婚65年了。金婚夫妻们的爱情感动了每一位在场的观众。
