从上句话中我们可以看到，“年终奖”的英语就是“year-end bonus”，“bonus”指的就是“额外津贴，奖金”的意思。除了这个常用意思，它还可以指“anything pleasant in addition to what is expected”，比如说：
The warm weather in winter has been a real bonus.（冬天有这样暖和的天气真是喜出望外。）
