外媒看中国：G20把杭州人民都赶到哪去了？

Most of the nine million residents of the city Hangzhou were actively encouraged to get out of town as security wasrampedup. Factories were closed so the visiting world leaders could breathe less polluted air. Car travel in Hangzhou was restricted by registration numbers (evennumber registrations were allowed to travel one day,oddon the others days). Residents were given a paid week of work to gentlyprodthem into leaving.

随着安保力度的加大，900万杭州市民中的大多数人积极响应政府号召出城去了。工厂停业，以便让来访的领导人能呼吸到污染轻些的空气。小汽车出行也采取了按号限行措施（单数号出行一天，偶数号再出行一天）。市民们得到了一周的带薪休假，政府以此方式温和地鼓励他们外出。

The result, as theBBCand other media organisations reported, was that outside the summit bubble Hangzhou was largely turned into a ghost town.

So where did all those people go?

If theextraordinaryscenes captured on social media are anything to go by, the city's residents seemed to have taken full advantage of the tourist vouchers that they were offered by China's government. Reports say that 10 billion Yuan ($1.5 billion) worth of vouchers to visit tourist sites were distributed.

如果社交媒体上那些反常的画面真实可信的话，那么杭州市民好像还真是充分利用了中国政府发放给他们的旅游票券。据报道，政府发放了价值100亿人民币（15亿美元）的旅游景点门票。

One place that experienced a hugeinfluxof Hangzhou residents was the scenic Yellow Mountain, which is around 200 km away. Photos posted online show huge queues at the entrance to the cable car up to the mountain, andmassivecrowds in thesurroundingstreets.

杭州市民大规模涌入的一个景点是200公里以外的黄山。从网上发布的照片来看，上山的缆车检票口前排了长长的队伍，周围的街道上也挤满了人。

Hangzhou resident, Ms Gao Jinmei, who drove three hours to the Yellow Mountain, toldBBCTrending that there was a special entrance at the mountain just for Hangzhou residents.

杭州市民高金梅小姐（音译）开了3小时车来黄山，她告诉BBC热点频道记者，黄山景区还为杭州市民开辟了一条专用通道。

And all those visitors needed somewhere to stay. "Normally September is quiet season in the Yellow Mountain, butbecause of the G20, the hotels charged tourists the same as peak season," said Ms Gao. She said it was impossible to get a room in one of the hotels at the top of the mountains without an advance booking. Many people stayed at camp sites, shared dormitories and in some cases camp beds incorridors.

所有的游客都需要找地方住宿。高小姐说：“9月份一般是黄山景区的淡季，但因为G20的原因，现在旅馆收费和旺季一样高了。”她说，如果不提前预定，临时到山上是找不到房间的。很多人住在露营地或者共用房间，有的还在走廊里搭了行军床。

Users of the Chinese social media platform Sina Weibo had plenty to say. Someone called Big Ear Rabbit wrote that the Anhui province, where the Yellow Mountain is located, had taken on a different appearance due to the crowds: "It's as if the G20 was held at Yellow Mountain! The streets are full of cars from Hangzhou."

中国社交媒体平台新浪微博上出现了大量评论，一位名为“大耳兔”的用户写道，因为人太多，黄山所在的安徽省变了样：“好像G20峰会是在黄山开的！街上到处都是杭州来的车。”

Others took to the messaging app WeChat to share images and make comments about the mass influx of Hangzhou residents to the Yellow Mountain.

还有一些人用信息发布APP微信分享图片，对大群杭州市民涌入黄山的状况发表评论。

"I've heard that peoplechartercars, ships and planes, I've never thought that Hangzhou people could charter the whole Yellow Mountain. How pioneering! It's amazing!" one Huangshan resident, named Zhenshuiwuxiang, commented sarcastically.

一位名为“真水无香”的黄山人酸酸地说：“我就听说过有人包车、包船、包飞机，没想到杭州人还能包黄山。真是太新潮了！太神奇了！”

Some feared that the large crowds at Yellow Mountain were dangerous. Yimo wrote, "Sightseeing is a happy thing to do, but safety is more important." User Youyou agreed: "Pay more attention to safety. Do not let astampedetragedy happen."

有人担心黄山人太多会带来危险。“一默”写道：“观光旅游是一件开心的事，但安全更为重要。”用户“悠悠”赞成这个观点：“一定要注意安全问题，千万不要出现踩踏事件。”

Meanwhile, back in Hangzhou, residents who volunteered to work at the G20 summit also had the chance to take advantage of the peace and quiet.

与此同时，在杭州那边，为G20峰会服务的志愿者们也得到了享受和平、安静的机会。

One volunteer security guard called Sun Yan toldBBCTrending that the empty streets made arefreshingchange, "There are not many cars on the road. Some local shops are closed. Supermarkets offered competitive deals to attract as many local residents. The famous West Lake is normallypackedwith visitors, but during the G20, you can truly enjoy it."

一位安保志愿者孙岩（音译）告诉BBC热点频道记者，空旷的街道让人感觉焕然一新，“马路上车不多，一些当地店铺关了门。超市促销力度很大，以吸引尽可能多的当地顾客。著名的西湖平时挤满游客，但G20峰会期间你可以享受到真正的西湖美景。”
