And look at the action from Day 10 action in Rio. The Chinese table tennis team, who have been stellar in the individual competitions were looking to continue their fine run of play in the team events.
In the men's team event, China swept South Korea 3-0 in the semi-final. Despite Zhang Jike narrowly winning the first set, the Chinese made no mistake the rest of the way. The team led by single's champions Ma Long will next face Japan in the final.

Ding leads China to 3-0 win over Singapore
In women's table tennis, team China prevailed in three sets against Singapore. Ding Ning played in both singles and doubles events. The reigning women's singles champions helped China advance into the final where they'll face Germany.
Xu/Ma also ousted after falling to Malaysian pair
In badminton, it was a tough day for China's mixed doubles teams. Both pairs lost in the semifinals. Defending champions Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei fell to Indonesia's Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir. And the Chinese duo of Xu Chen and Ma Jin were knocked out by Malaysian pair, Chan Peng Soon, and Goh Liu Ying.
Compatriot Cao progresses into semi-final stage
In the pool, China's He Chao failed to reach the semi-final of the men's three-meter springboard event. The diver too inconsistant to progress but his compatriot Cao Yuan advanced to the semi's set for Tuesday.
33-year-old defeats Turkey's Kayaalp in 130kg final
In men's 130-kilogram wrestling, Cuba's Mijain Lopez Nunez defeated Turkey's Riza Kayaalp by six points in the final. The 33-year-old captured his third successive Olympic gold medal. Nunez has also been crowned world champion on five occasions.
