A pregnant teen achieved some Internet fame after images of her showing off her big belly made the rounds on social media, where many expressed their shock and raised questions about teen pregnancy in China.
一位怀孕少女在社交媒体上炫耀自己大肚子的照片在网上流传，而她也因此火了。很多人表示非常吃惊，并且对中国未成年少女怀孕提出了质疑。
The images, posted by Sina Weibo user "-Xiao Zheng Mei-" on Saturday, show the fresh-faced woman posing with her round stomach and include selfies with a young man who apparently is the baby’s father.
照片由新浪微博用户“-小正妹-”于上周六发布，照片中一位面带稚气的女孩晒出了自己圆鼓鼓的肚子，还有一张和一个男孩的合影，该男孩很明显示孩子父亲。
"I guess these post-2000 generation kids don’t have enough homework to do," read the apparently tongue-and-cheek caption.
“我猜这些00后的孩子作业还是太少。”配字开玩笑地说。
Though their names are unknown, the 16-year-old mother-to-be and the young man, 17, are both from Xuchang, Henan Province, according to the "-Xiao Zheng Mei-" post.
尽管没有公布姓名，但据“-小正妹-”微博显示，这位16岁的准妈妈和17岁的年轻男孩都来自河南省许昌市。
"We’re married," reads one of the captions. "If it’s a boy we’ll name him Li Yunxi."

The legal age for marriage is 22 for men and 20 for women, according to Chinese Law.
根据中国法律，男性合法婚龄是22岁，女性是20岁。
The photos were reposted 47,000 times and received more than 14,000 likes and 43,000 comments on Weibo.
这张照片在微博上被转发了47000多次，获得了14000多个赞并有43000条评论。
Many expressed their surprise at the young couple’s age and doubted their readiness to have a baby.
很多人对小情侣的年龄表示震惊，并且怀疑他们是否做好了迎接宝宝的准备。
"That name Li Yunxi shows their level of education ... they watch too many Korean dramas," wrote "oceane loves Andrew Garfield," as Yunxi is a common Korean name and South Korean dramas are popular among teens.
“李允熙这个名字暴露了他们的文化水平……他们肯定是韩剧看多了。”一位网友评论，因为允熙是个常见的韩国名字，而韩剧在中国青少年中非常流行。
Others focused on more meaningful social issues.

"This is not about young dating or comparing generations, it’s underage marriage! It’s on par with human trafficking - and hurts women in the same way. There’s nothing to laugh at!" posted "Tangyuanjun Youshi Yinian Chunlaidao," which received 20,000 likes.

The photos are also rare considering abortions are still largely used as a form of birth control for underage women.

According to a 2013 survey by the People’s Hospital in Guangzhou, abortion rates among women under 18 - many of them already employed - reached as high as 30 percent, Southern Weekend reported.
