The third round of aid has been delivered to the besieged Syrian towns on Monday. The UN, Red Cross, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent have delivered food, medical supplies, and fuel to Zabadani and Madaya.
These towns are close to the Lebanese border and surrounded by government forces. A joint team however, failed to deliver aid to Foua and Kafraya which were still surrounded by rebels. Armed groups in the area claimed they need more time to finalize security arrangements.
