Over 1860 listed companies have released their earnings reports for the third quarter, with start-up companies posting the best results. So far, nearly 70 percent of the all the listed firms in China's A share markets have issued their profit results.
Their total revenues have only edged up fractionally by less than 2 percent from last year, with overall net profit doing slightly better.
However, ChiNext, AKA the start-up board, posted better growth than last year. For companies that have released results, their total revenues increased over one third.
