I hope to do so

I would like to follow in his footsteps and I hope to do so as soon as possible.

I guess there are scientists right now trying to do that, and I hope they'll succeed because the world would be a much cleaner place, wouldn't it? I think it will be great if they invent something so that we only have to sleep for one or two hours every day.

But yes, I hope we do get enough cases, that Mother Nature allows us to see enough genesis cases so that we can say this was a successful mission.
